Cinderella
Ella “Cinderella” is a beautiful young woman of 19. Rumpelstiltskin promises to save her from her wretched life in return for an unspecified precious object later on and Ella agrees. Later, when Ella has married the Prince, Rumpelstiltskin reveals that the precious item he wants in return for her new life is not money or jewels but her first-born child. The Prince assures her that he will fix this, and they plan to trick Rumpelstiltskin into believing Ella is carrying twins.
Using a magical quill, charmed by the Blue Fairy, Rumpelstiltskin is frozen and transported into a prison in the dwarfes’ mines. However, Rumpelstiltskin makes Ella’s prince has dissapear and tells her she will not see the prince again until she fulfills her deal with him.
Ashley Boyd
Ashley is a distraught, pregnant teen. Her boyfriend broke up with her after he found out she was pregnant, so she has made a deal with Mr. Gold to give her baby up for adoption. However, after talking to Emma about giving the child away, Ashley changes her mind and breaks into Mr. Gold’s pantshop to retrieve the contract she made with him. When he surprises her, she knocks him out with pepperspray.
Mr. Gold hires Emma Swan to find her. Emma and Henry do find her, just at the border of Storybrooke. She is in labor and has been in a car accident. Emma and Henry take Ashley to the hospital. Mr. Gold arrives because of the deal she made with him. After she gives birth, Emma tells her that she made a deal with Mr. Gold, and Ashley can keep the baby. Later, her boyfriend visits her in the hospital, having changed his mind about the break up.

- Cinderella’s name is Ella. Cinderella was a mean name given to her by her stepsisters, refering to the cinders of a fireflace where she sat when her work was done each day.
- The name Ashley means “ash tree clearing”.
- As Henry runs up the stairs, he loses a sneaker, just as Cinderella loses a slipper when running home from the ball.
